MILTEX Surgical Instrument Cleaner Concentrate, 8 oz.

MILTEX Surgical Instrument Cleaner, 8 oz. (0.24 liter) bottle. Contents of one 8 oz. bottle makes 32 gallons of solution.
Neutral pH and phosphate-free liquid concentrate formula for manual and ultrasonic cleaning or soaking of surgical/dental instruments, accessories and glassware.
Biodegradable and rinses free.

Instrument Cleaning
All blood, fluids, tissue and organic debris should be completely removed from the instruments prior to sterilization/disinfection.
Miltex Surgical Instrument Cleaner is effective in removing organic material from instruments

Use distilled water if possible. Instruments should be fully submerged for at least 10 minutes. After soaking for 10 minutes, use a small hand-held brush while keeping the instrument fully immersed.

Rinse the cleaned instruments under running water to remove the solution and loosened debris.

Change solutions frequently.

*****This solution is for CLEANING ONLY. IT DOES NOT disinfect the instruments. After cleaning, you need to disinfect the instruments according to CDC recommendations. This might include the use of dedicated instrument disinfection solutions or an autoclave.
