In-Person Foot Care Training for Nurses
Provide your medical staff with a hands-on classroom learning experience that’s tailored to suit your clinic’s specific needs. Our day-long program includes a set of thorough demonstrations as well as hands-on wound care and callus removal to prepare nurses for real clinical experiences in foot and nail care. Your staff will receive tailored foot care training to prepare them for a variety of medical tasks and procedures, no matter if the focus is foot and toenail care for the elderly, diabetic patient care or a general overview of clinical foot care.
Dr. Overstreet, D.P.M., will be your personal instruction guide for the day, equipping your staff to competently examine the lower extremities, provide wound care, control swelling to relieve foot pressure, identify common dermatological pathologies of the legs and feet, and remove calluses. At Rainier Medical, we use only the latest and most advanced materials and pride ourselves in the careful instruction and supervision of your staff at all times.
Because we understand that your clinic may have specific needs, any of our foot care teaching segments can be adjusted, combined or expanded in order to help your staff meet credentialing and competency requirements for your clinic.
